Work-focussed English courses and professional meetings attended by a trainer, who provides English support, are an excellent opportunity for small groups of colleagues from the same or different locations to spend time together - they learn the English they need for their work and build deeper working relationships.
We are specialists in developing courses to meet the needs of international business and the professions. We have particular expertise in the wood processing, paper, engineering and energy industries, and in the medical professions.
One or two week programmes are carefully planned in consultation with the individual(s) concerned. Areas covered can include skills for presentations, meetings, negotiating, telephoning, socialising, business writing, cross cultural issues and an evening social programme.
The day lasts from approximately 9.00am until 4.30pm with a team of two or three trainers. Lunch can be arranged with a trainer at the training centre or in a nearby pub or restaurant and excursions can include visits to the city of Bath and the local countryside, football matches, theatres, museums, the Bristol harbourside area and science centre.
Our courses are normally arranged at the Regus Office centre in the centre of Bristol. This is an exciting new centre for us. For details of the venue, click here. The course venue's central location means that there is an excellent choice of local hotels and attractions.Bristol is a two-hour bus or train journey from Heathrow airport. There are also good connections to Bristol airport via Brussels, Amsterdam or Paris as well as direct flights to Bristol from Barcelona, Zurich, Geneva, Valencia, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Nice, Faro and many other destinations including New York.
